1. Nationalization:
Many countries in Middle east are trying their level best to encourage citizens to take up jobs is Government and Private sector. Despite of this the economy os growing and the demand for labor at the moment is larger than the national population growth which again drives expatriate labor force to these countries. This is a factor to be watched out in future and it will starts with Top positions, like Manager posts etc.Normally this is implemented in Government departments and Government companies before it moves strongly to the private sector.
2. Conflict with your sponsor/Company:
Even though labor laws are applied in all countries, practically ,to fight a legal battle with your existing company or sponsor is expensive and risky . Companies , often tries to preserve their manpower using closed contracts and might hesitates to give release , in case the employee gets another job offer. In many countries you also will have to produce an NOC from existing sponsor to get your Visa changed to other Company.
