Driving License in Oman

 
To Obtain a driving license in Oman first you need to train yourself under a certified instructer. This is applicable to both Trained and Non Trained  persons. Once the  people feel confidence, he or she will be given dates fr the following test by the Traffic Department.

1.Traffic Sign test- For testing the different signs
2.Drum Test- Reverse the car between two drums with out touching it
3. Slope Test-  Move up the vehicle from stand still with out moving back
4.Road Test - Driving capabilities will be tested on Road

To obtain Driving license in Oman you should be




1. Complete 18 years of age
2. Produce 2 passport size photographs
3.Fill  In application form and obtain sponsors approval and copy of passport and labour card( For expatriates)
4. Pass both the physical Test and Eye Test
